I originally thought this must be a crock. Even though I was a Christian, I went to hear Bill Wiese speak just so I could poke holes in his story and disregard it. About 10 minutes into his presentation I realized he was the real deal.Even if you do disregard the story of his vision, every single aspect of hell he describes is also described by the Bible itself. He's almost not providing any new information with his supernatural account, he's merely backing up everything the Bible says about this place. So if you believe the inerrancy of the Bible, I don't think you should have any issues with Bill's book.Also appreciated the Chuck Missler nods.Bill's goal with this book is to inspire us to tell others about Jesus and to get us to take God more seriously. It certainly did that for me.
I read this with a 21-year old dyslexic girl, and boy did she enjoy reading it! I bring up her reading challenge only to demonstrate that the book was so engaging to her that she looked forward to reading every day, which is not something that usually happened! It was a bit preachy though, in my eyes, even though I'm a fully fledged Christ lover and believer. I could just imagine how some might be turned off if they come to the book expecting pure anecdote.
Our Lord JESUS is so merciful and loving, HE has chosen so many people to warn everyone about hell, HE does not need us to live eternal life, but we need JESUS to stay out of eternal hell torment.I cant fathom the unending pain, skin burn, bone pain, hunger, thirst, tiredness, foul smell, scream noises, unending struggle to stand those pain.... it is impossible for any kind of creation to go thru that even for a day.Demons shuddle and tremble in fear of GOD's incoming wrath, no humans will be able to endure,is so sad, people keep rejecting JESUS.thanks Bill and Annette.
Understandably difficult to believe, but worthy of consideration. Mr. Wiese's tale of being taken to Hell is as gripping as it is terrifying, backed by enough references to cause all but the hardest heart to take note.The account only takes about 1/3 of the book to tell, with the rest dedicated to the fallout, reception and state of Bill's ministry. For the believers out there, read it or watch one of Bill's recorded accounts, make of it what you will, and please share it with someone who might be in need.
The book that every person should read THIS YEAR. It tells it like it is and you can tell by the descriptions and peoples reactions--it's real. And it's sure better to read about it in a book than to LIVE IT. I have passed out many a copy to people I love and care about---you will too!!
This is a powerful poignant book that looks at hell as it really is. I love the author includes scripture straight from the Bible to share what he saw. The back of the book categorizes questions about hell and supporting thoughts and scripture! A must read for everyone!
I believed there was a hell but I never took it as serious. The way it is written in this book and the scriptures that follow helps you see how real hell really is.
This book encouraged compassion and a great desire to talk to people about Jesus.My #1 like about this book and author is the heavy emphasis on scripture.
